Energy Penguin’s mission is to
help homeowners improve their home’s performance, including its comfort, indoor
air quality, safety, durability, and energy use. The Penguin does this through
homeowner education, performance assessment, and “hassle reduction” in dealing
with contractors. Services we are proud to offer include:
- Home performance assessment and assurance, including an inspection,
testing and diagnostics, an analysis and report, referrals to contractors,
and quality control through post-project testing.
- Post-audit homeowner training for do-it-yourself upgrades (with
materials and tools list).
- Specialized engineering services for home performance upgrades:
- In-depth HVAC evaluation and system sizing
- Post-audit project management and contractor supervision
- GreenReview™: third-party review of plans and specifications for
green renovations and renewable energy projects
